Saxum James Berry Vineyard (Paso Robles)
Coffee, blackberry, jam, vanilla, raisin and mineral scents are in abundance. This is thick, powerful and intense. The wine finishes with oak, chocolate covered raisin and jammy blackberries. 7,668 Views Tasted Dec 30, 2011 |

Saxum Bone Rock James Berry Vineyard (Paso Robles)
Perhaps this should be labeled dry vintage Port. At 16.7% ABV, the wine is hot, jammy, sickly sweet and incredibly concentrated with a massive wall of jammy berries. I found it over the top and hard to taste. Different horses for different courses, this blend of 76 % Syrah, 18% Mourvedre and 6% Grenache was not fun to drink. have friends that enjly this style of wine a lot more than did. 3,761 Views Tasted Nov 24, 2012 |

Saxum James Berry Vineyard (Paso Robles)
Still inky in color, this wine offers a massive wall of jammy blackberry, pepper, blueberry and oak. The wine is almost too much. It's packed and stacked with jammy, ripe and over ripe, sweet fruit. Very intense with low acidity. This is not my style, but I know other people who like this type of wine and know they will enjoy it a lot more than I did. 3,306 Views Tasted Feb 28, 2012 |

Saxum Bone Rock James Berry Vineyard (Paso Robles)
Full throttle over the top, over ripe wine with pruney, raisiny characteristics that will not go with any food other than Brontosaurus steaks or burgers. 2,026 Views Tasted Feb 22, 2005 |
