Kongsgaard Chardonnay (Napa Valley)
Easy drinking, apple, lemon and floral wine, with a vanilla and coffee undertone, coupled with freshness in the buttery finish. 4,339 Views Tasted Nov 25, 2017 |

Kongsgaard Cabernet Sauvignon (Napa Valley)
Fat, rich, powerful, concentrated, deep and youthful, the wine shows a lot of oak at the moment. Once past the espresso and vanilla components, there is a sweetness and fresh quality to the blackberries and black cherry fruits, with a hint of licorice and dark chocolate to wrap things up. 3,381 Views Tasted Dec 13, 2016 |

Kongsgaard Chardonnay The Judge (Napa Valley)
Intense, powerful, concentrated style of Chardonnay, with a fleshy, rich, sweet, citrus, honeysuckle, candied lemon peel, vanilla and green apple character. There is length and character here, but it is in a unique style, so everyone is not going to like this. 2,727 Views Tasted Dec 12, 2016 |

Kongsgaard Syrah Hudson Vineyard (Napa Valley)
Very ripe, powerful, big, concentrated wine, with layer after layer of ripe, dark red fruits, jam, vanilla and peppery notes. The dense wine is palate filling and long in the finish. This is more about presenting powerful, ripe fruits than restraint. 2,871 Views Tasted Feb 25, 2019 |
2009
Kongsgaard Chardonnay The Judge (Napa Valley)
Close to over the top. This is incredibly concentrated, oaky and lacks elegance. On the other hand, there is a purity of fruit in the lemon, lime and apple notes, fat, juicy textures and a lush, vanilla drenched finish. More impressive than fun to drink. 3,065 Views Tasted May 13, 2016 |

Kongsgaard Chardonnay The Judge (Napa Valley)
An assertive nose of lemon, lime, green apple and stone opens to a powerful, full bodied, lush, big, oaky wine. 2,850 Views Tasted May 13, 2016 |
2007
Kongsgaard Chardonnay The Judge (Napa Valley)
Very oaky, but once past the vanilla notes, you find a mix of yellow citrus fruits, tangerine and orange rind to round things out. Lush, rich and potent, the wine has freshness in the lemony finish that is the best part of the experience. 2,509 Views Tasted May 13, 2016 |

Kongsgaard Chardonnay (Napa Valley)
I hope it was the bottle and not the wine, because this bottle was starting to fall apart. It was oxidized and close to undrinkable. Interesting to see all the poor reviews on this wine. Something is possibly wrong with the 2006 Kongsgaard Chardonnay. Approach with caution. 3,671 Views Tasted Mar 6, 2012 |

Kongsgaard Chardonnay The Judge (Napa Valley)
A blend of Roussanne/Viognier reminded me of the white Rhone styled wines produced by Sine Qua Non. Beautiful, tropical, exotic nose. Thick, viscous palate entry. A long finish. But very ABVic and while it wasn't exactly over the top, it was not something I wanted a second glass of. It is a style of wine that will appeal to a lot of people with its gobs of ripe fruit, but it's not my cup of tea, or even glass of wine. 1,602 Views Tasted Aug 1, 2004 |
