Tenuta San Guido Sassicaia (Bolgheri Sassicaia)
Medium-bodied and probably fully-mature, the wine opens with fresh, bright red fruits, herb, tobacco, cedar, pepper and leafy notes. Soft, round and developed, this should provide nice drinking for up to a decade. 4,357 Views Tasted Nov 11, 2020 |

Tenuta San Guido Sassicaia (Vino da Tavola)
Cold steel, coffee bean, black raspberry, pepper and leafy aromas open to a concentrated wine that finishes with some dryness in the cherry, leaf and olive tapenade finish. 5,893 Views Tasted Feb 8, 2013 |

Tenuta San Guido Sassicaia (Vino da Tavola)
Just a bit lighter and less intense than the otherworldy 1985, here you find a multi-layered, voluptuously textured wine showing off its tobacco, pepper, sweet, fresh, juicy, cherry and licorice notes at every twist and turn. This is drinking just great today. 5,299 Views Tasted Nov 11, 2020 |
1985
Tenuta San Guido Sassicaia (Vino da Tavola)
Full-bodied, concentrated, rich and with incredible intensity, the fruit offered a beautiful purity, vibrancy, elegance and supple character that was equally youthful and luscious. The intensity was in the nose and palate. Just an incredible tasting experience. 6,735 Views Tasted Nov 11, 2020 |

Tenuta San Guido Sassicaia (Vino da Tavola)
Clearly, this is not my style of wine. Much better on the nose than the palate with its smoke, truffle, red berry scented perfume. On the palate, the wine was packed with tart red fruits and the tannins were dry. Others raved about it. Wine like this is all about the style, which works for some better than others. 5,870 Views Tasted Aug 14, 2013 |
