L'Eclat de Valois (Pomerol)
Espresso, dark chocolate, smoke, licorice, wet earth and plums create the core of this wine. Medium-bodied, vivacious, creamy and polished, the wine leaves you with loads of chocolate-covered black cherries, with cocoa in the chalky finish. The wine is a blend of 57% old vine Cabernet Franc and 43% Merlot. Drink from 2024-2035. 1,466 Views Tasted Mar 21, 2023Flowers and earth, along with black cherry and chocolate create the core of this wine. Soft, supple, round and ripe, the wine is fresh, lively and sensuous. Give it up to 5 years before you pulling a cork and it will be a much better wine. 91-93 Pts 2,194 Views Tasted May 20, 2021 |

L'Eclat de Valois (Pomerol)
Soft, polished, fresh and fruity, the core of sweet, ripe, dark plums come through easily accompanied by layers of chocolate covered cherries, espresso bean, smoke and minty herbs. Give the wine a year or two in the cellar for more complexity and better integration of the oak and this should be good to go. Drink from 2024-2037. 91 Pts 2,001 Views Tasted Apr 9, 2022 |

L'Eclat de Valois (Pomerol)
Medium-bodied, elegant, silky and fresh, with a good purity to the fruits as well as touches of flowers, cocoa, licorice and cherries. I like the sweetness and purity in the finish a lot here. 1,629 Views Tasted Mar 9, 2021 |
