Domaine Leflaive Chevalier-Montrachet (Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru)
The nose was a bit reductive and while it improved, it never fully cleared itself up. Which was too bad, because the fruits were ripe, concentrated, energetic, luscious and really helped reinforce the crushed rock elements that were showing well. 5,507 Views Tasted Sep 25, 2017 |

Domaine Leflaive Chevalier-Montrachet (Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru)
Really nice wine here, with good freshness, purity of fruit, minerality and a concentrated, buttery, fleshy character. It's still holding much of its essence in reserve. 4,159 Views Tasted Nov 7, 2016 |
2009
Domaine Leflaive Les Combettes (Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru)
Vanilla, smoke, citrus oil, minerality, lemon zest and floral scents open to a soft textured, silky, round, medium bodied, ripe expression of Chardonnay that is already showing well. 2,263 Views Tasted Mar 15, 2012 |

Domaine Leflaive Bâtard-Montrachet (Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru)
This is a really pretty wine, with depth of flavor, concentration, rich texture and freshness. The ripe, sweet citrus notes and minerality really carry through from start to finish. 3,619 Views Tasted Aug 31, 2015 |

Domaine Leflaive Bâtard-Montrachet (Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru)
In the nose, the wine offers a stong citrus, stone and beeswax aromatic. The wine is powerful, but it lacks charm and elegance. This is a hard, masculine, steely style of wine that reminds me of 86 Bordeaux. While well made, it lacks pleasure. I wonder how this would fare in a blind tasting? 4,212 Views Tasted Nov 29, 2010 |

Domaine Leflaive Chevalier-Montrachet (Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru)
Leflaive Chevalier Montrachet was too steely for my taste. Very focused with a lot of acidity, and bright citrus flavors. Others liked it more than I did. 3,272 Views Tasted Jun 4, 2008 |
