2010 is a strong vintage for St. Julien Bordeaux wine. Ducru Beaucaillou is on top with a stunning wine of First Growth quality. All three Leoville’s made great wine as did most producers in the appellation.
At their best, the top 2010 Bordeaux are rich, powerful, tannic, fresh and pure wines with the structure to age. There are great wines in every price range from the Left Bank, Pessac Leognan, Pomerol and St. Emilion.
2010 Beychevelle, priced at close to $100per botle, sold well as a Bordeaux wine future, due in large part, to the unique logo of a Chinese Dragon boat on the label, making this a popular collectibe in China.
