2009 St. Emilion, Bordeaux Wine In Bottle Tasting Notes, Ratings and Reviews from wines tasted with the UGC in Los Angeles.

2009 St. Emilion wines are ripe, deep, concentrated and complex, they offer a sensuous style, but it is not consistent. Some 2009 St. Emilion wines could use a bit more acidity to give them lift. Alcohol levels are high, but the fruit is so ripe, in most cases, the high levels of alcohol are not a problem for 2009 St. Emilion.

The following year, 2010 also produced high alcohol wines, but in 2010, the majority of the wines are fresher and offer more lift, richness, balance and complexity. That being said, there are many outstanding, stylish, Right Bank 2009 St. Emilion wines at all price ranges from top to bottom that are worth tasting and buying to cellar from 2009 St. Emilion.
