2022 Auguste – Bordeaux – Light, fresh, forward, vibrant, medium-bodied, already open wine with a piquant, red berry, and cocoa-dusted finish. Enjoy this on the young side. Drink from 2026-2030. 87 Pts
2022 Aurore À Tous Un Supplement d’Ame – Bordeaux – Black cherries, and black raspberries work together to produce a medium-bodied, light, fresh. early-drinking, charmer with a savory tint in the finish. Drink from 2025-2034. 87 Pts
2022 Bad Boy – Bordeaux – Supple, rich, ripe, and creamy, this 100% Merlot from Jean-Luc Thunevin is already a treat in your glass, that is, if you are like me and enjoy a lusty glass of chocolatey, black cherries with a sliver of fig, and licorice in the finish. Drink from 2025-2033. 90 Pts
2022 Bellevue Malartic – Bordeaux – Soft, and fruity, the wine is all about its accessible core of easy-to-like, red cherries, and plums. Not overly complicated, but nice, and tasty in your glass. Every time I taste this wine I always think it is going to be a Pessac Leognan from the name. Drink from 2025-2034. 90 Pts
2022 Brane Cantenac Baron de Brane Blanc – Bordeaux – Honeysuckle, spice, and candied green apples are all over the place here, in the nose, and palate, that ends with a touch of juicy, bright, lemon rind. Drink from 2025-2028. 90 Pts
2022 Brane Cantenac Blanc – Bordeaux – Gingery green apples, white peach, and pears, with refreshing yellow citrus notes in the mid-palate, and finish that keeps this juicy, and lively. Drink from 2025-2030. 92 Pts
2022 Cheval Blanc Le Petit Cheval Bordeaux Blanc – Bordeaux – Flowers, lemon, lime, orange rind, honeysuckle, and fresh-cut lawn grass create the nose. The palate is refined, medium-bodied, vibrant, and a touch salty, with an elegantly-textured, lemon curd oriented in the finish. Drink from 2025-2037. 94 Pts
2022 Clos des Lunes Lune d’Argent – Bordeaux – Sweet, juicy pineapples, mango, and honeysuckle aromatics pop as soon as the wine hits the glass. The palate, is fruity, sweet, and creamy, with more of those pure, pineapple notes in the honey-touched finish. Drink from 2025-2032. 92 Pts
2022 Clos des Lunes Lune d’Or – Bordeaux – Pears, burnt sugar, honeysuckle, lemon curd, pineapple, vanilla, and green apple notes are all over the place here, in the aromatics profile, and in the crisp, lemon curd, and fresh, yellow citrus finish. The wine blends 70% Semillon with 30% Sauvignon Blanc. Drink from 2025-2034. 94 Pts
2022 Clos-du-Beau-Pere Blanc du Beau Père – Bordeaux – Flowers, with yellow, and orange citrus are quite charming in your glass. I like the freshness with the cut of grapefruit in the finish. The first white wine from Pomerol in over 100 years could only come from Jean-Luc Thunevin and Murielle Andraud. Produced from blending 50% Sauvignon Blanc and 50% Sauvignon Gris. Good luck finding any as the production is limited to about 200 cases. Drink from 2025-2030. 92 Pts
2022 Cos d’Estournel Blanc – Bordeaux – A superb effort for white Bordeaux wine in this hot, dry vintage was worth the effort. Fresh, and refreshing with its juicy, green apples, and citrus, the wine delivers pop, and sweetness in the grapefruit-oriented waxy, finish. The wine blends 74% Sauvignon Blanc and 24% Semillon. 2022 Cos dEstournel Pagodes de Cos Blanc – Bordeaux – Limes, green apples, and waxy lemons with a fresh, lemony edge in the finish are what yo find here. Already delicious, drink this on the young side, for all its sweet fruits. The wine is made from 57% Sauvignon Blanc and 43% Semillon. Drink from 2025-2030. 92 Pts
2022 Cru La Maqueline – Bordeaux – Medium-bodied, early-drinking, simple, herbal, red berry oriented wine that will be best over the next few years. Drink from 2025-2030. 84 Pts
2022 DAiguilhe Blanc – Bordeaux – Flowers, pears, and green apples are already enjoyable on the palate, and in the nose. The mid-palate and finish are made better with the sensation of crushed stone that accompanies the juicy citrus in the endnote. The wine is produced from 100% Sauvignon Blanc. 2022 De Sours Quarry de Sours – Bordeaux – Medium-bodied, forward, sweet, ripe, round, and fruity, with just the right touch of cocoa in the finish. This is going to be simply at pleasure to taste on release. Drink from 2025-2034. 90 Pts
2022 De Sours Quarry de Sours – Bordeaux – From a blend of mostly Sauvignon Blanc, the wine expresses grapefruits, and lemons with a touch of seal-salt in the nose, and on the fruity, round, palate. Drink this over the next few years for all its juicy fruits. Drink from 2025-2028. 88 Pts
2022 Guiraud Blanc Sec – Bordeaux – Honeysuckle, roasted nuts, ginger, and pineapple nuances are everywhere here. The palate, with its freshness, sweet, lemon curd, and pineapple, with a touch of chalk hits everything just right. This is the debut of this new wine from Guiraud which is the brainchild of Sandrine Garbay. The wine truly tastes exactly like what you want from a dry Sauternes. Drink from 2025-2035. 92 Pts
2022 Haut Meyreau – Bordeaux – Forward, medium-bodied, red fruit-filled wine, complicated by the essence of herbs, and olives. This will be at its best over the next few years. Drink from 2025-2029. 85 Pts
2022 Haut Meyreau Cabernet Franc – Bordeaux – The strong floral character is easy to miss. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied, fresh, crisp, and on the red fruit side with a sharp-edged finish. This is an interesting wine to taste as it is one of the few Bordeaux wines produced using 100% Cabernet Franc. Drink from 2025-2033. 88 Pts
2022 Haut Meyreau L’Eclat – Bordeaux – Flowers and plums form the character here on the nose, and on the round, plummy, easy-going, medium-bodied, chocolatey palate. Drink from 2025-2032. 88 Pts
2022 La Fleur de Bouard Sauvignon – Bordeaux – Citrus, with just the right drizzle of honey, and flowers, in a forward, fruity style that is perfect for near-term enjoyment. Drink from 2025-2029. 90 Pts
2022 La Freynelle Cabernet Sauvignon – Bordeaux – Flowers, herbs, tobacco wrappers, and currants define the wine in the nose, and on the medium-bodied, soft, round, sweet, fruity palate, with a touch of chocolate that sneaks in at the end of the finish. This is one of the few Bordeaux wines produced from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. You can drink this on release, or wait a few years for the wine to soften and fill out. Drink from 2025-2034. 90 Pts
2022 La Freynelle Emotion – Bordeaux – Fresh, and flowery, with a black cherry, black plum, and chocolate mid-palate, this is easy to like for its charms, though I wish it had a bit more concentration as it would be even better. Drink from 2025-2032. 90 Pts

2022 Lagrange Les Arums de Lagrange – Bordeaux – Green apples, lemon rind, and spice with a touch of floral characteristics come through easily, in this sweet, juicy, forward, ready-to-drink white Bordeaux. Drink from 2025-2031. 89 Pts

2022 Leroy-Beauval – Bordeaux – A bit oaky on the entry, but once past the espresso and smoky notes you find a rich, round-textured, blast of ripe, sweet, red, with black currants offering freshness, and a creamy-textured, fruity finish. Drink 2025-2037. 92 Pts

2022 Loudenne Blanc – Bordeaux – Grapefruit, lemon peel, white flowers, and green apples pop in the nose. The palate is on the creamy side, with white peaches, and candied grapefruit in the finish. Drink from 2025-2029. 89 Pts
2022 Mondèsir-Gazin – Bordeaux – White peach, and yellow combine in the nose, and on the light, fresh. vibrant, orange, and yellow citrus-oriented, spicy palate. Drink from 2025-2029. 89 Pts
2022 Rosaire – Bordeaux – Leafy, fresh, and earthy, the wine is medium-bodied, soft-textured, fruity, fresh, and most importantly, it is already delicious to drink so you can enjoy this on release. Drink from 2025-2032. 90 Pts
2022 Saint-Nicolas Cuvee Lascaut Malbec – Bordeaux – One of the few Bordeaux wines made from 100% Malbec starts off with hints of espresso, meat, spice, and roasted dark berries, and with coaxing, you find flowers as well. On the palate, the wine starts well, but, finishes dry, and astringent. Drink from 2025-2029. 87 Pts
2022 Saint-Nicolas Cuvee Lascaut Merlot – Bordeaux – Produced from 100% Merlot with no added sulphur, the wine is round, fruity, and ready to go on release. This should be consumed over the next few years. Drink from 2025-2028. 88 Pts
2022 Stella Solare Croix de Labrie – Bordeaux – Honeysuckle, white peach, and vanilla notes pop in the perfume, with little effort. On the palate, the wine is sweet, creamy, and citrusy, with loads of pineapple on the back end. The wine blends 60% Semillon, 20% Sauvignon Blanc, and 20% Sauvignon Gris. Drink from 2025-2030. 91 Pts
2022 Suduiraut Lions de Suduiraut Bordeaux Blanc Sec – Bordeaux – White peach, grapefruit, Granny Smith apples, lemon, and ginger produce a showy perfume. The wine is sweet, fruity, fresh, and forward, so you can enjoy it in its youth for all of its sweet, creamy, yellow, and white fruits. The wine blends 54% Semillon, and 46% Sauvignon Blanc. 2022 Suduiraut Pur Semillon Grand Vin Blanc Sec – Bordeaux – The complex nose features notes of citrus, smoke, hazelnuts, green apples, pears, flowers, pineapple, and honeysuckle. The wine is elegant, energetic, and creamy, with a sweetness and lift from the lemon, grapefruit, and pear-oriented finish. It is only made in special vintages and, as the name suggests, produced from 100% Semillon. This wine is difficult to find, as only 3 barrels, or 75 cases, are produced. Best enjoyed from 2024 to 2035. 95 Pts
2022 Talbot Caillou Blanc – Bordeaux – White peaches, with green apples, are in abundance here, in the perfume, and on the juicy, sweet, rounded palate. Drink from 2025-2030. The wine blends 71% Sauvignon Blanc with 29% Semillon. Drink from 2025-2029. 92 Pts
2022 Tempo d’Angélus – Bordeaux – The orchard of fruit in the nose, with its black raspberries, cherries, and plums gets the medium-bodied, soft-textured, wine off to a good start. On the palate, the wine is lively, and fresh, with lift, and length, and a fun, refreshing, minty touch to the cherry-packed finish. Drink from 2025-2035. 91 Pts
2022 Tour Saint Christophe Angela – Bordeaux – Ginger, and orange rind with a strong, salty edge that adds to the yellow citrus in the mid-palate, and finish. The wine was made from 100% Sauvignon Blanc. Not is produced, perhaps only 175 cases in total. You can enjoy this on release. Drink from 2025-2029. 90 Pts
2022 Tronquoy Blanc de Tronqupy – Bordeaux – Crushed rocks, green apples, and lemon curd provide the perfume. The palate is fresh, round, and fruity, with a lush, rounded, sweet, lemon wax endnote. Drink from 2025-2030. The wine is an equal blend of Semillon and Sauvignon Gris. Drink from 2025-2031. 91 Pts
2022 “Y” de Yquem – Bordeaux – The distinctive nose offers waxy yellow citrus, pineapples, lemon peel, green apples, lemon grass, orange rind, flowers, and white peaches. The fruit has a lush quality, sweetness, round textures, and a vivid display of grapefruit, gingery spice, and mango, with a touch of honey on the back end of the finish. The wine blends 60% Sauvignon Blanc with 40% Semillon. It is interesting to note that this is the earliest harvest since they began producing dry white Bordeaux in 1959. Drink from 2025-2040. 94 Pts
